Thoughts on the 5D Mark III

If internet rumor sites are to be believed, we may be seeing a successor to the Canon 5D Mark II by the end of the year.  Almost universally speculation is pointing to around 30 megapixels.  I have no doubt the next iteration will have some major improvements in the still picture department, but will we see vastly improved video capabilities?  I hope the answer is "yes," but I'm inclined to think we may only see a modest update when it comes to video.  Let me elaborate.

The T2i and 7D are great video cameras; the 5D is an amazing video camera.  With its full frame sensor and great low light capabilities the 5D Mark II can put even some expensive entry level professional cameras to shame.  If the Mark III, or whatever it may be called, improves moire and rolling shutter issues it could start to cannibalize sales of Canon's professional video products.  Now assume that this new camera also allows for higher bitrate recording, RAW video, better low light performance, and/or 1080p60 (or even possibly higher resolutions and faster frame rates).  Would this not lure many prospective pro gear buyers away from Canon's video lineup?  This is why I think many people will be very disappointed with the 5D Mark III's modest video update.  Here's to hoping I'm wrong.
